Strengthen Membership & Share Rotary’s Ethos
Rotary is sometimes called the world’s best kept secret. For over a century, clubs have quietly transformed communities—supporting young people, funding hospices, responding to disasters, and fostering peace. Yet this very invisibility may help explain Rotary’s current membership woes. Too often, the extraordinary impact of Rotary goes unseen by those outside our circle.
Rotary clubs are at a crossroads: many face shrinking membership and tight budgets, yet their mission of Service Above Self remains as vital as ever. A clear, authentic communications strategy not only helps attract new members; it also ensures Rotary’s humanitarian work and ethical values are recognised more widely. Research shows donors are inspired to give through multiple channels—social media motivates about 32 % of donors, email around 30 %, and websites about 17 %. Nearly 40 % say they’re more likely to respond when they see a message across channels. The answer isn’t to spread resources across every platform, but to focus on a few relevant ones and complement them with owned content (your website), earned media (press releases), and targeted newsletters.
Why act now? Rotary International President 2023-24, Gordon McInally summed it up:
“With better engagement, we will grow Rotary both by way of membership and in our ability to provide meaningful service.”

Our packages are priced exclusively for Rotary and remain highly competitive compared with standard market rates for communications support. They are designed not to create long-term dependency, but to give your club the tools and confidence to eventually manage communications independently. To keep prices accessible, our service integrates the use of AI tools for drafting, scheduling, and design support. We ask for a minimum commitment of six months, payable upfront—this ensures continuity and allows enough time to build momentum. With steady collaboration, most clubs should reach a point after a year or two where they can confidently take the reins themselves.
Ready to enhance your club’s communication? Let us help you share Rotary’s mission, grow your membership and celebrate your service in the community and beyond.
